The Secretary of Health of the Government of the State of Colima reported that at the close of the vaccination campaign against seasonal influenza (winter season 2022-2023), 184,598 doses were applied, which represents 99.6% of the goal of 185,431 doses. . By institution, IMSS had 104% when applying 83 thousand 851 of 79 thousand 922 doses of its goal; Ministry of Health applied 63,327 of 65,694 (96.4%), and ISSSTE applied 37,420 of 39,815 (94%).

In the ordinary session of the State Vaccination Council, advances in vaccination against SARS CoV-2 were announced as of May 21, applying one million 305 thousand 852 doses, of which one million 090 thousand 645 were for the population of fifteen years and further. In this way, 71% of the population has the complete scheme of the vaccine against Covid-19 (434 thousand 971 people) and 57% (322 thousand 192 inhabitants) has a booster dose.

In relation to the target population, 71.46% of the population aged fifteen years and over, 23.28% of girls and boys from five to eleven years of age, and 19.32% of adolescents from twelve to fourteen years of age, have a complete schedule of this vaccine.

The state agency indicated that 69 thousand 117 doses were applied to girls and boys from five to eleven years of age; 52,172 to the general population of fifteen years and over; 36 thousand 602 to teaching personnel; 30 thousand 833 to health personnel; 25 thousand 476 to adolescents from twelve to fourteen years of age, and one thousand 007 to minors from twelve to 17 years with some comorbidity.
