At the PlayStation Showcase event, Ubisoft revealed the exact release date of the new installment of the Assassin’s Creed series, subtitled Mirage, which was set for October 12. There was also the release of a new trailer and the launch of pre-orders.
Just starting pre-orders confirmed that the game will not be available on Steam. PC players will be able to purchase the new Assassin’s Creed only on the Epic Games Store or the Ubisoft Connect platform.
Although Ubisoft recently has released a number of its older games on Steam led by Far Cry 6 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, so it is clear that the imaginary return to this platform will not affect at least some upcoming games
