“Seven Convicts Escape Russian Unit in Ukraine with Weapons”

Seven convicts who fought in one of the Russian units in the Donetsk region fled with weapons from the unit.

In the Russian units fighting against Ukraine, there was the second case in recent days of escape from the front of convicts recruited to participate in hostilities on Ukrainian territory.

Saturday night Russian media reportedthat from the unit near Soledar in the Donetsk region, seven deserters escaped with weapons. Three of them were allegedly detained in the vicinity of Russian-occupied Bryanka in the Luhansk region, and another was shot dead by deserters when he wanted to surrender.

The report states that “the detainees were found in one of the cafes, they were in a state of intoxication.”

The rest fled to the Rostov region. Two of them were later allegedly also detained, another deserter is still being sought.

Earlier it was reported that from Lisichansk captured by the Russian army in the Luhansk region fled four dozen convicts recruited into the Storm Z unit. They shot an overseer from the “Ministry of State Security of the LPR”, after which they moved to Russian territory.

According to Russian publics, the escapees are now hiding in the Rostov region. To search for deserters in the region, the “Interception” plan was announced. In particular, the Rostov special forces of the FSB were raised on alarm, according to some reports, an order was given to shoot to kill.
