Deputy Regent of Rokan Hilir Caught with Woman in Pekanbaru Hotel

Deputy Regent of Rokan Hilir (Spirit), Sulaiman, was caught with a woman who was not his wife in a hotel room in Pekanbaru, Riau. Sulaiman is said to have said goodbye to the Rohil Regent, Afrizal Sintong, to accompany the pilgrims.

Sulaiman and the woman who is an ASN at the Rohil Dispenda were found together in a room when the police conducted a routine raid on the Riau Regional Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit, Thursday (25/5/2023) evening. The police then arrested the two.

“Yes (only the two of us in the hotel room). (Sulaiman and ASN) Head of Control and Acceptance of the Regional Revenue Service for the Rohil Regency, DRS,” said Riau Police Director of Criminal Investigation Commissioner Asep Darmawan. detikSumatraSaturday (27/5/2023).

The two were later sent home after being arrested. Police say they are still investigating.

“Anyway, it’s still under investigation, we still want to investigate it first. We justify it being found in the room (not a husband and wife),” he said.

Regent Afrizal then opened his voice. He admitted that he did not know that Sulaiman was arrested by the police when he was hanging out with a woman who was not his wife at a hotel in Pekanbaru. He said Sulaiman went to Pekanbaru to accompany the pilgrims.

“I haven’t received clear information. But I’m not sure because the Vice Regent is a good person,” said Afrizal.

“No DL (Foreign Service), the plan is because I want to take pilgrims from Rohil to Pekanbaru. There is no communication, the cell phones are off, there is no info yet,” continued Afrizal.

He said he had not received any further information regarding this matter.

“That one hasn’t received any information, the cell phone is dead. Yes, there are sanctions, in ASN there are sanctions according to the rules,” he said.
