Canadian singer Celine Dion has canceled her Courage world tour due to health concerns. About this she reported May 26 on Instagram.
“I’m so sorry to disappoint you all again. I’m doing my best to regain my strength, but touring can be very difficult, even when you’re 100% ready. It’s not fair to you.” – postponing shows, and although it breaks my heart, it’s best if we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to get back on stage. I want you all to know that I am not giving up and I can’t wait to see you again.” – wrote the singer.
In December 2022, Dion admitted that she had been diagnosed with a rare a neurological disorder called rigidity syndrome.
“It affects one person in a million. Although we are still studying this rare disease, we now know that it causes all my spasms. Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulty walking and preventing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m used to“, – then the artist said.
Celine Dion was born in 1968 in Canada. She is the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 1988, where she represented Switzerland. In 1990, the debut album of the singer Unison was released.
Dion became one of the many foreign celebrities who supported Ukraine in the first days after the Russian attack.
