The Ministry of the Interior sends a person to South Africa and looks for a connection with an old double murder of Bulgarians there
Nine people attacked the home of Krasimir Kamenov – Kuro, who was shot on Thursday morning in his home in Cape Town along with his wife, bodyguard and their children’s nanny. The attackers were wearing fake uniforms of the US DEA anti-drug agency, “24 Chasa” learned. The dead bodyguard is called Dido. Kuro’s personal guard was changed every month, and for this purpose the men traveled to RYU and then returned to us.
On Thursday morning, the security guard took Curro’s children to school by bus. As he was returning to the mansion, the doors to the courtyard opened. Just then, the killers swoop in with a heavy armored jeep, pushing the bus into the yard and sweeping the door open. Then they quickly find the targets and shoot them.
Curro’s body was found with his hands tied behind his back, tied with pig tails.
His wife, the housekeeper and the bodyguard were buttoned up with handcuffs, Cape Town media reported.
The DEA uniforms also explain why Kamenov and his relatives allowed themselves to be bound and gagged. Then, with their eyes wide open, they are shot at point blank range.
Interestingly, despite the demolition of the front door, Kamenov’s neighbors say that they did not hear anything. The murders are believed to have been carried out with a silenced weapon. Police in Cape Town have not released details of the crime. It is only known that there are no arrests for him.
A representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will also go to help in the investigation, announced Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev. Even before this happened, the chief secretary of the department, Petar Todorov, issued an order and all over Bulgaria, the contingent that might be involved in some way with the murders was being screened.
“Our goal is to prevent serious crimes against the person. Let’s establish the connections and reasons that led to this crime, and reveal the perpetrators and possible guarantors,” Demerdzhiev pointed out.
Then he focused on the recordings distributed by the prosecutor’s office, in which Kamenov was heard calling “We continue the change” “his people”. He did it indirectly with the words “politicians and magistrates who have been at war since recently, when they were friends, had a common enemy. This enemy’s name was Krasimir Kamenov – Kuro. He was declared an interstate wanted man, but unfortunately, he was not apprehended, although the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed the authorities of the Republic of South Africa where he was,” the deputy prime minister said veiledly.
“It is precisely these people who owe an explanation, no longer as friends, but as enemies, how and why it came to the murder of this person, named as their common enemy,” added Demerdzhiev and explained that the blame for Kuro’s murder should be sought outside the Ministry of the Interior.
The minister reminded that this is the second murder of Bulgarians in the Republic of Yugoslavia. In 2018, Angelo Dimov and Nezabravka Peeva were shot dead in Cape Town. The couple was murdered outside their home on February 12, and the murder remains unsolved to this day. Interestingly, Curro commented on their deaths on the Cape in Cocaine podcast. (the cloak of cocaine – from English ez.). It tells about Bulgarian organized crime, which imports and exports the expensive drug into the country.
“They killed him some time ago, I remember him. They were busy (Dimov and Peeva) something with drugs, with bank card fraud and things like that. Most Bulgarians here are lowballs and deal with credit cards, fraud, drugs, things like that,” says Kamenov in the podcast. And he commented that over the years it turned out that most Bulgarians in the Republic of Yugoslavia were involved in various criminal groups. He refers to the rumor around the country “However, I think that most of the rumors are true”, Kamenov summarizes.
He denies having anything to do with the murdered, even feeling slightly offended by the comparison. “I understand what you mean, but you can’t compare me to them,” answered journalist Aaron Hyman Curro.
“We are incomparable. Financially, they are not at my level to have affairs with them on a working level, that’s stupid, I’ve never had anything to do with them. What should I get from them, tell me”, asks Kuro rhetorically.
However, it was quickly countered that when Dimov was arrested in 2013, a copy of Kamenov’s identity card was found in the man’s home. Curro remains unmoved and replies that there were various other documents because at the time he was considering doing something with Angelo. What, it is not clear. “Then I found another person, this one was not competent,” said the murdered man on Thursday. And he states that the couple should have been involved in drugs, because they had no business in our country, nor in RYU.
According to unofficial information, Kamenov himself is associated with drug trafficking, although he has never been accused of this. He was wanted with a red notice in Interpol on charges of being the instigator of the murder of Lyubomir Ivanov – Lyubo Politskaya.
Kuro is one of the representatives of the VIS-2 force group that survived the transition years. In the past, his name was associated with that of Christophoros Amanatidis – Taki. They broke off their friendship a few years ago.
Officially, Kuro has a business in our country with parking lots, a vegetable market, but unofficially his name is associated with drug trafficking, smuggling and factories for illegal cigarettes. As with the “golden goal” of the GCP Captain Andreevo, who controlled through his cronies until a few years ago. It was then taken over by former employees of his, and the interests surrounding the gyol were one of the revelations of the last regular government. In addition to legal business in Bulgaria, Kuro has also had large-scale activities abroad, as well as contacts with various groups.
He had been living in South Africa for years. We only heard about Kuro in March. Then the prosecutor’s office accused Kamenov of being part of a conspiracy, with the participation of other criminals, as well as defendants such as Tsvetan Vasilev, in a conspiracy to discredit senior magistrates and police officers. A little later, he was also accused of being the instigator of the murder of Lubo the Policeman, and he was announced as wanted by Interpol.
