“Harley-Davidson X440: Features, Design, and Price – Launching Soon in India”

The launch of the ‘cheap’ motorbike Harley-Davidson X440 seems to be just a matter of time. In fact, the cruiser-style ride will be introduced in India next month. Then, what are the advantages offered?

Taken from Transport, Friday (26/5), even though it will only be launched next month, the manufacturer has opened the casing for this motorbike. The Harley-Davidson X440 looks dashing thanks to its muscular body and all-black color scheme.

The design of the Harley-Davidson X440 is still inspired by the XR 1200 which was launched earlier. This vehicle is predicted to be a tough challenger to the middleweight cruiser motorbikes made by Royal Enfield and Benelli.

The manufacturer gives a classic touch through a perfectly rounded lamp design, then a pair of mirrors with a similar design and an exhaust sleeve that is designed perpendicular. The vehicle looks like a neo-retro motorcycle suitable for use in urban areas.

Even though it looks quite classic, the Harley-Davidson X440 has been equipped with a number of contemporary features, such as full LED lighting, a digital instrument panel that can be connected to a cellphone via a Bluetooth connection, and dual disc brakes with dual channel ABS technology.

Harley X440 uses a bigger engine than other motorbikes in its class. If the average middleweight cruiser in India uses a 350cc engine, then this ride is equipped with a two-cylinder 440cc mechanical heart.

This provision makes the motorbike capable of producing a maximum power of 35 bhp and 30 Nm of torque. While the transmission is a six-speed manual.

The X440 uses upside down (USD) suspension at the front and twin-sided shock absorbers at the rear. Then the tire size is 18 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear.

Even though it hasn’t gone on sale yet, the ‘cheap’ Harley motorbike already has a price leak. According to the same source, the unit will be sold starting at 2.8 lakh rupees or approximately Rp. 50 million. So cheap, right?
