22-year-old Lennart Otten is already entering his third season in the Wolves jersey. Otten came to Freiburg in 2021 from the offspring of the Düsseldorfer EG and quickly found his way around in the senior section. His debut season was quickly curtailed by injury, but the striker came back strong and has 17 points in the past two seasons.
20-year-old Konstantin Bongers will also be on the ice for another year for EHC Freiburg. Similar to Otten, Bongers also came to Breisgau from the offspring of the Düsseldorf EG. In the past season, the attacker made his first experiences in the senior and professional areas and was able to score five points. The left-handed shooter will also appear as a contract player for the Wolves in the coming season.
Sports director Peter Salmik: “Both have developed very positively over the course of the season. It is precisely their series that has taken on an important role in our game and filled it to the full. Unfortunately, Lennart will not be able to complete the entire preparation due to his injury, but we will give him enough time to finally attack fully again. We are very happy that both are still part of our Wolves family.”
