MARRUM – Paint factory NelfKoopmans from Marrum has been taken over by PearlPaint Group from Lelystad. Shareholder Paul Dokter now wants to focus on the next growth phase of NelfKoopmans.
The focus will be on broadening and deepening the product range, intensifying product development and further professionalising the services. Marktlink branch Drachten supervised the transaction.
NelfKoopmans has a rich history that starts in 1916 as the Nederlandsche Electric Lakfabriek (NELF). It is one of the first Dutch paint manufacturers to use electricity to produce paint. NelfKoopmans now produces completely climate-neutral in the factory in Marrum.
PearlPaint Group from Lelystad develops, produces and supplies liquid and malleable branded products for repairing, protecting, maintaining and cleaning. All products have been developed for specific applications in the living and working environment, construction and industry.
Paul Dokter will continue to work as an advisor at NelfKoopmans. With his entrepreneurship, knowledge and experience, he focuses on the growth of the brands and will contribute to the further development of PearlPaint Group.
