The Uruguayan team is eliminated in the Copa Sudamericanabut almost sought a tie, hitting the post in the last move of the match.

– We were totally dominating in the second half. Due to football details, which exist, we couldn’t even draw, nor obviously get the victory. What made the difference was the strength, and they had it. Botafogo had four chances and scored three goals, we had six and scored two – summarized Loco Abreu.

Botafogo’s idol, Abreu was asked by the Peruvian press about what needs to be done to stop César Vallejo’s irregularity in the season – in the Apertura, the team is only in eighth place. And he responded by praising the performance of his athletes.
