In the Czech Republic, it sounds like a phantasmagoria, but in this French housing estate, every apartment has a large loggia, high-quality parking, and vegetables are grown or rabbits are raised in the block of flats. Proof that you can live and feel really at home in a housing estate. A brilliant idea implemented in Bordeaux, France, won the most prestigious architectural award in Europe. It was a rehabilitation of a panel housing estate by architects Anne Lacaton and Jean Phillippe Vassal – around 800 apartments received the aforementioned loggias as well as quality outdoor space. Why is something like this unfortunately not yet possible here?
