Lionel Messi has opened a new restaurant in Andorra. The restaurant belongs to the Hotel MiM located there. The world champion has owned the hotel chain since 2017, and his brother Rodrigo manages the day-to-day business.
The Spanish influencer “Monica Moran” has taken a close look at the restaurant, like the Sun reported and shared on TikTok with her 9.4 million followers.
First she tried a pizza with her friends, which, according to the influencer, was “really very good”, just like the steak she ordered afterwards. In the end, the group decided to order the actual highlight of the menu.
The Ballon d’Oor dessert: A chocolate shaped ball filled with whipped cream, peanuts, popcorn and marshmallows. The connection to Messi is clear. The Argentinian has been named player of the year a total of seven times.
The sweet treat costs 24 euros and is even more in the lower price segment of the menu.
There are also lobster ravioli for 45 euros, tuna carpaccio for 59 euros or oysters for 32 euros in the Argentinian’s restaurant.
In the comments, some fans were confused by the restaurant’s high prices. Mrbu5hidou commented: “If Messi doesn’t bring my food to my table and sit with me, I don’t want anything.”
Messi continues to face criticism from Paris Saint-Germain fans after his recent escapade. Javier Tebas, the head of the Spanish league, recently fueled rumors that the Argentine would move back to FC Barcelona.
