Krasimir Kamenov-Kuro and his wife were killed in their home in Cape Town, BNT reports, citing its sources.
In March, Kamenov was charged in absentia by the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office as a guarantor of the murder of Lyubomir Ivanov, a former employee of the Ministry of the Interior, who was conspicuously shot in Sofia at the beginning of 2022.
At the end of April, he was put on a red notice by Interpol.
Kamenov, who is known to have lived in South Africa for at least 15 years, was charged in absentia by the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office as a guarantor of the murder of Lyubomir Ivanov, a former employee of the Ministry of the Interior, who was inexplicably shot in Sofia in early 2022.
At the end of April, he was put on a red notice by Interpol. From a reference on the Interpol website, it is clear that Kamenov is wanted for murder, threat of murder and extortion.
At the same time, the prosecutor’s office indicted Kuro as part of a conspiracy, with the participation of other criminals, as well as defendants such as Tsvetan Vasilev, in a conspiracy to discredit senior magistrates and police officers.
