While they had a ball of -1 less than two minutes from the end of the match, the Muscatiers will travel to Ile-de-France in three days for the return with this defeat of three goals in the suitcases.

The Black and Gold, courageous and carried by an exceptional public for the last of the season at home, will have to achieve a big performance to hope to qualify for the Final 4 in Dijon, on June 3 and 4. Note that in the second Proligue play-off, Caen won 30-27 at home against Tremblay.

Huge save from Leo Canton Lauga on a wing shot from Romain Giraudeau while the FTHB had the opportunity to return to -1!

55’26 (MT2) : FTHB 31 – 34 PCHB

Despite a generally difficult second period, Frontignan throws its last strength into the battle to try to close the gap against the Ile-de-France. Gaetan Canton puts his back at -3 while in the Muscatiers cage, Savonne has been doing good since entering with 4 saves.

50’13 (MT2) : FTHB 29 – 33 PCHB

While he remains stuck at two stops since returning from the locker room, Kévin Mesnard is replaced by Maxime Savonne in the FTHB cage. The Muscatiers no longer manage to go back under the gap of four goals.

44’46 (MT2) : FTHB 25 – 29 PCHB

Frustrated by arbitration decisions that do not turn in its favor, the FTHB loose ballast in the heart of this second period. Pontault-Combault is again at +4, while the FTHB has already spent six minutes in inferiority since returning from the locker room.

41’16 (MT2) : FTHB 25 – 27 PCHB

The Muscatiers do not let themselves be defeated and come back to two goals from Pontault-Combault! The FTHB is doing better after a difficult start to the second half. Giraudeau, at the conclusion of a beautiful offensive, sets fire to the Henri Ferrari gymnasium, which believes more than ever in the return of its players. Pontault asks for a time out to break the rhythm and try to remobilize.

35’47 (MT2) : FTHB 21 – 25 PCHB

Start of the second period delicate for the Frontignanais with a delay of four goals now and the exclusion for two minutes of Anthony Laurens. Pontault-Combault surfs on its dynamics of the first period.

9:24 p.m .: start of the second period!

Pontault-Combault kicks off this second act.

As for offensive stats, Guenole Gaillard is the top scorer of this first period for the Muscatiers with 5 goals (83%). In the ranks of Pontault-Combault, Jean-Pierre Dupoux displays a very nice 6/6.

Mi-temps : FTHB 18 – 20 PCHB

Mi-temps : FTHB 18 – 20 PCHB

It’s the break here at Ferrari with the score of 18-20 in favor of Pontault-Combault. Despite a big desire for the FTHB, which had returned to 18-18, and a two-minute inferiority for the visitors (Ferreira Da Silva, 28th), it was the Ile-de-France residents who returned to the locker room with the advantage in the score.

25’30 (MT1) : FTHB 14 – 16 PCHB

The Frontignanais cling despite new losses of ball and a penalty diverted by the visitor goalkeeper. Less than 5 minutes from the break, the intensity is still just as high in this first leg of the Proligue.

19’24 (MT1) : FTHB 9 – 12 PCHB

Pontault-Combault stands out with a three-goal lead. Dupoux and Garaudet, both at 3/3, are hurting the Frontignanais, who are finding it increasingly difficult to find solutions in attack.

14’57 (MT1) : FTHB 7 – 8 PCHB

The tension is rising on the floor! On an offensive from Pontault-Combault, Anthony Laurens and Adrien Chaudanson exchanged a few pleasantries. Two minutes for the two men, who finally separate on a handshake.

12’25 (MT1) : FTHB 6 – 7 PCHB

The score is still as close to Ferrari even if the visitors seem to be gradually taking their bearings in the overheated room of the FTHB. The Parisians are very aggressive in defense, causing several ball losses (4) from Asier Antonio’s men.

5’44 (MT1) : FTHB 4 – 4 PCHB

Great intensity in this start to the match marked, already, by the 3 stops (43%) of Kévin Mesnard in the cage of the FTHB. Pau Oliveras scored two of the home side’s four goals.

8:30 p.m.: start of the meeting!
