Giant Squid, led by the former art director of “Journeyman”, held an online presentation at “PlayStation Showcase” this morning, and released a new PS5 “Sword of the Sea”, an action game that combines games and delicate art.
The first public promotional video reveals the operation mode of “Sword of the Sea” similar to that of a snowboard. You can move forward freely on the large and boundless sandy land, feel the high-speed flowing sand, and explore among the ruins.
Players play the role of wizards in the game, resurrect in the desolate world, explore submerged ruins, ancient tombs and even shipwrecks, awakening various creatures and cultures.
Giant Squid is a studio established in 2013 by the art director of “Journeyman”. It has released “Abzû” and “The Pathless” in the past and received a lot of praise.
