Tebas said, referring to the message he posted on the social network “Twitter”, last Sunday, commenting on the Brazilian’s statements: “I did not intend to attack Vinicius, but if many people in Brazil understood it this way, I must apologize for that. It was not That is my intention.”
In his controversial message on Twitter, Tebas accused Vinicius of not attending two meetings in which the Spanish Football League tried to explain its powers in the racism cases that the Real Madrid star was exposed to this season.
And the president of the Spanish competition said: “Before criticizing and defaming La Liga, it is necessary to educate yourself adequately, Vinicius. Do not allow yourself to be manipulated and make sure that you understand well the powers of each one and the work we do together.”
Thus, Tebas responded to a message from Vinicius, in which the player complained that racism was “normal” in La Liga, and that “the competition believes that this is normal, and the federation also encourages it.”
The Brazilian’s statements came after he was subjected to racist insults during the match against Valencia last Sunday evening at the “Mestalla” stadium by some fans of the “bat” team in the La Liga competitions, within the Spanish League competitions.
