Straka returns to his native Pilsen after two seasons in Litvínov. His stay in Verva didn’t work out for him at all, for example, he only managed six points (2+4) in 45 games this year.

In the past, the 30-year-old Straka was capable of attacking up to the 30-point mark in the Extraliga. Will the comeback to Pilsen help him return to similar values?

“Petr has signed a two-year contract with us,” confirms general manager Martin Straka. “Thus, we are continuing the concept of building a wider squad that will rely on our boys from Pilsen. We expect that Petr will build on the seasons he played in our team. “

“We know him very well, he is our pupil. He is both an honest player on the ice and an excellent guy in the cabin,” adds the head of the Pilsen club. “Furthermore, in his thirties, he already has a lot of experience that he can pass on to the team.”
