Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, after revealing they were hounded by paparazzi, are in the media’s sights again for being accused of exaggerating the backlash in New York.
The spokesperson for the royal couple, then, issued a statement denying the accusations, in order to put an end to rumors that the situation would not have occurred or that the two increased for both to be in evidence in the media.
“Respectfully given the Duke’s family history, one would have to think nothing of the couple or anyone associated with them to believe this was some sort of public relations stunt,” Ashley Hansen said in a statement sent to Page Six. .
The paparazzi chase took place on May 16, after the two were leaving an event. The mayor of New York has commented on the matter, regretting the situation, but the city police reported that there were no calls to 911 and no reports of collision, as the spokesperson for the couple informed the media.
