“Armed Forces of Ukraine Prepare for Counteroffensive with Weapons from International Partners”

Weapons from the partners of the armed forces of Ukraine, information about which appears in public sources, become an unpleasant surprise for the Russians.

“As it turned out, the wheeled tanks went into our marines, it will strengthen our light infantry. It also became public knowledge that one of the newly formed heavy infantry brigades received American APKWS missiles, which are guided by a laser beam.

These missiles are equally good for shooting down Russian UAVs “Lancet” and carefully shelling Russian firing points somewhere in the premises,” Defense Express expert Ivan Kirichevski said on Espresso air, quoted by UNIAN.

He recalled that Slovenia has provided Kiev with licensed copies of Austrian armored personnel carriers, which are good and will reliably protect the infantry in a counterattack.

“This is also a surprise for the Russians. A lot of what is now appearing in our public sources about the Russians, judging by the tone of their descriptions, comes as somewhat of an unpleasant surprise,” Kirichevski said.

According to the expert, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will try to repeat the success of the Kharkiv operation during a new counteroffensive, which is expected in a few weeks.

“Furthermore, given the specific type of military action that breaks through the enemy’s echeloned defenses that cling to fortifications, the most inconspicuous stage of preparation is the accumulation of radio-electronic warfare assets that will jam Russian communications. As well as the accumulation of various types of drones that will destroy their targets. First of all, the Russians will break the communication system,” he summarized.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that preparations for a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are now in the final stage.

According to ISW, there has been a wave of “general” layoffs in Russia due to fear of a counter-offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The US military is convinced that the Ukrainian armed forces are in a good position to launch a counteroffensive.
