The Lebanese basketball legend, Fadi Al-Khatib, explained to Al-Liwaa that what is meant by the end of his sports career is his retirement as a player, while he will continue with the sports projects he established in Lebanon and abroad.
And Al-Khatib announced today, through his Instagram account: “Everything in life has an end,” accompanying the news with a group of photos of him on the field, and added: “In my heart forever.”
Al-Khatib shared with his fans through two photos he posted on “Instagram” a few days ago, in which he appeared lying on a hospital bed, where he underwent a “difficult” surgery on his knee, as he put it.
He confirmed that “the operation was successful,” and explained that he had “3 major knee problems, and everything went well.”
Al-Khatib indicated to the “Major General” that the injury dates back to six years ago, specifically in the final series of the Lebanese Championship against the Beirut Sports Club team, as he was unable to follow it due to a triple knee injury, in addition to a blow to the brain.
