“Dr. Julio Maiztegui Foundation Presents Argentine Hemorrhagic Fever Vaccination at Agroactiva 2022”

The Dr. Julio Maiztegui Foundation (from Pergamino) will be present for the second consecutive year at Agroactiva. The representatives of the non-profit entity thanked “the entire sample team, especially its president Rosana Nardi, for the possibility of carrying out our task of raising awareness and dissemination.”

The objective of the Foundation is to work in support of regional scientific and technological development and for this it receives contributions from some entities to be able to provide requirements from the Maiztegui Institute (INEVH), and everything that is support and dissemination of issues related to Argentine Hemorrhagic Fever.

At the stand of the sample property, located at the crossroads of national route No. 178 and the Rosario – Córdoba highway, as in last year’s edition, the Pergaminense Foundation will have a vaccination course for Argentine Hemorrhagic Fever with SAMCO professionals ( Health Service) of Armstrong (Santa Fe), the location of the exhibition.

“We understand that there are many people, especially those under 35 years of age, who do not have sufficient knowledge about what the fight against Argentine Hemorrhagic Fever was like, nor do they know that they should be vaccinated because they live in an endemic area for this disease, so we have made the commitment to carry out a series of activities aimed at informing and raising awareness about vaccination and bringing the vaccine closer to different places, ”said the NGO representatives.

Between June 7 and 10, the days on which the mega exhibition will take place, the Foundation will carry out a strong promotional campaign with brochures, professionals to advise and different dissemination actions to inform about the FHA. They also stressed that those interested may be vaccinated with Candid 1 (inoculation that prevents the FHA) and for this the only requirements are to be between 15 and 65 years old and not have suffered from Covid within the last 30 days.
