“Styrians Help Styrians” Welcomes Four New Ambassadors at Festive Gala

Your willingness to help knows no bounds. The “Styrians help Styrians” ambassadors live up to their name and carry the message of helping in town and country and thus support the work of “Styrians help Styrians”.

The four new ambassadors were chosen at a festive gala on Monday evening in the Skyroom of the Styria Media Center. The gala took place for the fourth time in a row.

After a speech by the new club president and Kleine-Zeitung managing director Thomas Spann, the new colleagues were introduced. The longstanding President Bernd Olbrich retired yesterday after many years of service. “With one laughing and one crying eye” he stood in front of the ambassadors that evening, he said. He remains with the association as honorary president.

From the general manager to the winemaker

The new ambassadors are: Monika Cisar-Leibetseder, who was born in West Styria, is the general manager of the Volksbank. Board colleague Hannes Zwanzger is also one of the new ambassadors. Just like the two eruption winemakers Josef Scharl (Weingut Scharl) and Stefan Müller (Weingut Klöch).

Also celebrating were: Stefan Krispel (vintner), Edith Hornig (consul), Christian Purrer (Energie Steiermark) and Roland Fink (niceshops).
