A loud scandal erupted around the singer Svetlana Loboda after she announced her concert at Osocor Residence.
On the poster of the performance, the performer was listed that all the funds raised would be used to restore the ENT department of the Okhmatdet hospital. However, in the clinic assuredthat no one warned them about the concert or the charity fundraiser from Loboda.
After numerous comments and requests from netizens, the organizers of the event decided to give their official comment and clarify the situation.
As representatives of Osocor Residence wrote, they diligently approached the choice of the artist and believe that Loboda has sufficiently shown her pro-Ukrainian position.
“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Svetlana Loboda has taken a clear pro-Ukrainian position and has repeatedly condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. From various sources of public and personal information, our team operates with a complete list of documentary evidence of Svetlana Loboda’s charitable and social activities in support of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale”, said Osocor Residence .
But regarding the situation around the Okhmatdet hospital and the transfer of funds for the reconstruction of the department, the organizers of the concert explained that they should not coordinate this issue with the clinic, because the collection goes through a charitable foundation.
“As for the questions of our partners, we never approve artists and posters from the Okhmatdet NSSL. We transfer funds to cover their needs according to a fixed procedure through the Dobro charitable foundation, which is the author of the project for the reconstruction of the ENT department at the Okhmatdet NSSL” , – the organizers gave their explanation.

Recall that the singer Svetlana Loboda ran into criticism on the Web after she announced her concert in Kyiv at the Osocor Residence site. The performance of the performer is scheduled for August 25.
In the poster, the organizers noted that all the funds raised during the performance will be transferred to the restoration of the ENT department of the Okhmatdet hospital. Despite the fact that the artist declared her concert as a charity, netizens did not approve of this. In particular, commentators recalled Loboda how, until February 24, she built her life and career in Russia, and also paid taxes in the aggressor country.
The singer appeared on social networks only on the fifth day of the full-scale invasion and started talking with tears about the fact that her relatives were in a bomb shelter under fire. Ukrainians Loboda called “little people” who are not able to decide the fate of the country. A month after the start of the war, the artist nevertheless decided on her position and admitted that Russia had attacked Ukraine.
