Surprise for a motorist who was driving in Anglet, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, on Sunday afternoon. While he was on an avenue in the town, an original object hit his vehicle: it is an arrow.
The guilty? A drunken man doing archery in the middle of the street, explain our colleagues from South-West.
The driver immediately called law enforcement. They quickly challenged the Robin Hood.
He wanted to aim for a tree
According to Sud-Ouest, the man did not hesitate to complain, first, of the state of his arrow, damaged by the impact with the door of the vehicle.
During his hearing on Monday afternoon, he said that this bow had been offered by his friends, but without the arrows. So he decided to go buy four.
Drunk and certainly not very comfortable with archery, he indicated that he wanted to aim for a tree and not the vehicle.
