According to media reports, Mahmoud Dahoud is about to sign at Brighton. In addition to the German national player, the English middle-class club has apparently landed another top-class player for its midfield.

Mo Dahoud has reportedly already completed the medical check-up on the island. Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi also hinted at the midfielder’s forthcoming signing. The official announcement of the deal is probably only a matter of time.

James Milner before signing?

Brighton already have their sights set on the next high-profile transfer target for their midfield after Dahoud. According to information from Fabrizio Romano, James Milner (37) from league rivals Liverpool FC is about to sign the Seagulls.

James Milner, who is leaving the Reds on a free transfer after eight years, is also on the list of potential newcomers at other English clubs such as Leeds. According to the Italian transfer expert, club officials assume that Milner will give Brighton his yes-word.

Replacement for Alexis Mac Allister?

The veteran and coach De Zerbi have reportedly already spoken about the planned collaboration. Milner could compensate for the likely departure of Alexis Mac Allister (24) in mid-table sixth.

The world champion is on the shopping list of many prominent clubs. Liverpool FC are said to hold the best cards in transfer poker. According to the Argentinian broadcaster TyC Sports, the deal should soon be completed for a reported transfer fee of 80 million euros.
