Midfielder Manchester United casemiro admiring his team manager, Erik ten Hag. Casemiro hopes that Ten Hag will be given enough time to build MU.
The Dutch manager was recruited by MU from Ajax last summer with a contract until 2025. So far Ten Hag has made a number of bold decisions, including ousting Cristiano Ronaldo and imposing high discipline on the Red Devils squad.
MU is not fully competitive to compete against Manchester City in the Premier League. However, Ten Hag’s MU is showing progress after successfully winning the English League Cup, and has the potential to win other domestic trophies after reaching the FA Cup final.
Casemiro became one of the Ten Hag’s successful recruits. The 31-year-old player immediately became a key player and has scored six goals and six assists in 48 MU matches throughout the 2022/2023 competition.
Casemiro said: Erik ten Hag very demanding and highly respected. However, Manchester United must be patient with Ten Hag.
“He has surprised me a lot with his ambitions,” said the Brazilian football star on the National News. “There was talk among the players, and we always said he was a bit tough because he always wants to win.”
“He demands more because for him 100 per cent is not enough. We have to give more than 100 per cent. He works hard and is very ambitious. He has ambitions to change the whole club.”
“He is a manager who has the respect of all the players and the fans. However, I think we need to give him time because even though we have already won a title, and are quite close to the Champions League, we still need time to develop.”
“We can see he is changing things in the club, he has always shown his ambition to win,” he said casemiro about Erik ten Hag.
