“Spartak Player Sobolev’s Indecent Gesture Sparks Outrage and Criticism”

Spartak veteran Evgeny Lovchev harshly criticized the red-and-white forward Alexander Sobolev for an indecent gesture. The 26-year-old native of Barnaul addressed it to CSKA midfielder Willian Roche, for which he received a direct red card in the second half.

“The ugly behavior of Sobolev! Apparently, his nerves are not all right. Although now Spartak fans will justify him, there is still intelligence and sportiness. These qualities do not allow one to sink to the level shown by Sobolev,” noticed Lovchev.

The egregious act of Sobolev caused a flurry of condemnation from the football community. Later, the Spartak striker apologized for inappropriate behavior.
