Saudi Arabia to Implement National Strategy to Eliminate AIDS by 2030

The Ministry aspires that the new strategy will contribute to early intervention and the implementation of programs to help raise health awareness about HIV infection, to explore ways of transmission, and to change risky behaviors. And reverse and reduce the rates of new infections and increase treatment coverage for all people infected with the virus to reduce transmission.

The Ministry also seeks to integrate the joint efforts of the governmental and private sectors and other various parties, and the cooperation of community members to limit the methods of transmission of infection and distance from the methods of spreading the virus so that the same basic causes that result in the transmission of infection are addressed, and to control the course of the spread of the global AIDS epidemic.
