Polish studio Techland continues to improve the zombie action Dying Light 2.
What is known
Gamers have repeatedly noted that the second part of Dying Light is not as scary and atmospheric as the first game was. The developers have taken the words of gamers into account and will add more horror elements to the game in the next major update.
IN interview Tymon Smektala, head of the Dying Light franchise, told TheGamer that an update will be released in early summer that will make the game much scarier:
Horror is in Dying Light’s DNA, so we want to keep it alive as we move into the future. Our next update, scheduled for early summer, focuses on just that – we’re enhancing the nighttime atmosphere, making it even scarier. We hope to give players such intense experiences that they will get their pants dirty. To do this, we use everything possible: game mechanics, visual and sound effects.
