Climate activists on the country road or just tired men? In Alsbach-Hähnlein, the police were puzzled.
In the Darmstadt-Dieburg district, alleged “climate stickers” called the police into action. On Thursday, a motorist alerted officials and said five activists were trying to get stuck on the L 3112 near the highway.
The police officers could not find any activists on site – but witnesses who provided clarity: The five people were not climate activists, but men who celebrated Father’s Day together. According to the police, “weakened for a short time from the strenuous day, they sat down on the country road with their buttocks” to rest.
The men then “overcame the force of attraction and continued the arduous journey in an unknown direction.” The search for the alleged activists was then stopped by the officials,
