Cambridge Audio has just announced the Evo CD, a CD transport that works seamlessly with the Evo 75 and 150! The new machine uses the latest S5 Servo reading module, which has better precision speed and music data pickup than the predecessor, has better error correction and faster disc detection, and can extract every detail from the CD. With deep, rich sound and greater clarity, the Evo CD delivers an immersive music experience in any space, with controls and album art showcased on the Cambridge Audio StreamMagic app!
The new machine’s stylish black aluminum top panel, replaceable brushed wood panel or matte black side panel, made of environmentally friendly and durable Richlite recycled paper material, is a work of exquisite design and elegant atmosphere.
The all metal CD tray and mechanism employed by the Evo CD is built for stability, efficiency and longevity! The sound-isolating metal chassis and driver tray ensure that the signal passes through its single custom ‘Evo Link’ output cable to the Evo digital-to-analog converter without any interference.
Designed to match the design and sonic performance of the existing Evo range, the Evo CD is made from the same high-quality materials and dimensions as its siblings, and can be placed under an all-in-one or side-by-side. The Cambridge Audio Evo CD MSRP is $9,800!
