The first lady of Nuevo León visited the Intensive Care Unit of the Maternal and Child Regional Hospital to donate the milk she has been collecting and that is how she framed the celebration of the sixth anniversary of the Human Milk Bank, with which she invited all mothers to join the cause to help others.
“I want to invite all the mothers who are breastfeeding to be bearers of hope and to make a difference in the lives of our children,” she expressed when she arrived at the Bank and explained the importance of doing this type of activity, since it is something that it could even save lives.
She expressed her feelings about the way she went through this process and how determined she is that this action could change the lives of many children who are in danger.
“Today with great joy I will perform My first donation of breast milk because as a mother I am convinced that donating can change the lives of many babies. that with our donation we can also leave a legacy of love building a healthier and stronger society”, he added.
Not only did she ask that the mothers join in, but also the Nuevo León health secretary, Alma Rosa Marroquín Escamilla, asked for the help of the mothers to gather 13 thousand milliliters a day in order to reach the goal and meet the demand that exists.
