“Richard Krajčo favored to win the twelfth season of StarDance according to bookmakers”

StarDance …when the stars dance. The popular dance show on Czech TV will not be broadcast until autumn, specifically from October to December. Even so, bookmakers are already offering odds on the overall winner.

Let us remind you that in the competition a dance couple is made up of a professional dancer or a dancer and a media-known personality. They compete in a predetermined type of dance, and points are awarded by judges and television viewers. In each part, one pair that receives the lowest number of points is eliminated.

StarDance has been broadcast on public television since 2006. The singer and actor known from the Czech TV series Vyprávej Roman Vojtek became the first ever winner. His dance partner was Kristýna Coufalová.

A year later, the winner of the Olympics in Salt Lake City, Aleš Valenta, together with Iva Šišl Langerová, took first place. During several other series, celebrities such as Dana Batulková, Pavel Kříž, Kateřina Baďurová, Anna Polívková, Zdeněk Piškula and Veronika Khek Kubařová won.

The last time the dance show was broadcast last year was Jan Cina and Adriana Mašková as the winner. She beat everyone in terms of viewership. The eleventh season of StarDance was watched by an average of 1.57 million viewers over the age of fifteen. The record was, of course, the final, which was watched live by 1.65 million people.

The popularity is huge.

Some are already looking forward to the twelfth season, which will begin in October. For example, bookmakers and punters. Just Fortuna she listed the courses to the overall winner.

According to her, Josef Maršálek is the biggest outsider out of ten contestants. Odds of 20:1 are posted on a baker who became known to the public by participating in the jury of the Bake the whole country competition. In the case of a bet of one hundred crowns and the Marshal wins, the bettor would take exactly two thousand crowns.

15:1 is the odds on actor David Prachar and kayaker Vavřinec Hradílek.

Actress with Belarusian roots, Darija Pavlovičová, earned odds of 10:1 from bookmakers. Ivana Chylková 8:1. Tereza Mašková and Marek Adamczyk each have seven. Adamczyk’s wife, snowboarder Eva Samková, holds odds of 5:1. Just like model and presenter Iva Kubelková.

Fortuna: StarDance will be won by Richard Krajčo

According to Fortuna, the biggest favorite in the twelfth season is Richard Krajčo (4.5:1), the frontman of the band Kryštof and an actor.

At the same time, he was often criticized by the public. The busiest time around him was probably around 2016, when his colleagues from the industry, such as Matěj Homola from the band Wohnout, got involved in the singer from Ostrava.

The reason was the cooperation of the music group Kryštof with Agrofert, which is owned by Andrej Babiš. It was the chairman of the ANO movement who often visited their concerts and camps. Criticism came from Krajč’s fans as well.

“The Kryštof Kemp project is super successful, all concerts are sold out, some in a few minutes. Great fun for the whole family. Congratulations to Richard, although success is often not forgiven in our country, unfortunately. I’m convinced he’ll sell out the football stadium next year.” stated Andrej Babiš in July 2016 and added a photo with the main face of the band Kryštof.

“So this is hummus. And that’s why I liked Richard so much,” wrote one of the Facebook users, and hundreds of others joined in.

The cooperation between Agrofert and Kryštof ended in 2019.

The exact reasons are still unknown.
