National beach soccer team loses 4-5 to Oman in Arab Cup quarter-final match

Yesterday, the national beach soccer team lost its match against its Omani counterpart, 4-5, in the quarter-final matches in the fourth edition of the Arab Cup, organized by the Arab Football Association in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to bid farewell to the tournament.

The national team’s goals were scored by Ahmed Bishr, “two goals”, Ali Al-Mohammadi, and Abdullah Dehghani.

The two teams tied during the original rounds of the match, with a score of 4-4, and Oman added the fifth goal, the winning goal in the extra period.

The national team concluded the first round of the Arab Beach Soccer Championship at the top of Group A, after three consecutive victories at the expense of Libya (5-2), Comoros (11-3) and Kuwait (7-4).
