TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Chairman of the Party Gerindra Prabowo Subianto met the Mayor of Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka at Angkringan Omah Semar Solo on Friday evening, 19 May 2023. Prabowo was seen wearing a white shirt. He seemed to smile when he arrived at the location.
According to Tempo’s monitoring, the meeting was also enlivened by Jokowi’s volunteers. They seemed to be waiting for Prabowo and Gibran to arrive at that location since 20.00. The two just arrived at 21.05 WIB.
When met by the media crew before entering the meeting location and asked about how he was doing, Prabowo replied that he was doing well. “Thank God. Thank you,” said Prabowo.
He also told journalists that on Friday he was in Central Java and this evening he deliberately stopped by Solo to meet Gibran.
“Yes, today I am in Central Java. From this morning I went to Pekalongan, then in the afternoon to Semarang, and tonight to Solo. Tomorrow I plan to go to East Java,” he said.

Prabowo revealed that regarding his arrival, previously he had also asked Gibran for time to meet. He admitted that he was surprised to learn that his arrival in Solo would be greeted by Gibran, volunteers, and all members of the media.
“Indeed, I asked for time to meet with Mas Wali (Gibran). Yes, because I want to stop by (to Solo), it’s not good if I don’t meet? And how come you are greeted like this? It’s extraordinary. Thank you,” he said.
However, when asked further about the topics to be discussed at the meeting with Gibran, Prabowo was reluctant to go into further detail. He only replied that he would be invited to dinner that night.
“The agenda is eating,” he said, laughing.
