“Andrei (Danilko – ed.) is now in a pitiable state. He is well aware that the road to Russia is closed to him forever. The money he earned here is gone and will never be,” said Sergey Lavrov, giving a comment to the Russian press. where he refers to himself as a “close musician friend”.
According to Lavrov, Danilko is “trying to somehow establish himself in Europe”.
“Ukrainians mostly go to his rare concerts in European cities. Europeans simply don’t know him. He understands that now he needs to take at least something to be able to earn. To talk about him, Danilko sang “Russia, goodbye”, Lavrov said.
