Ubisoft Increases Investment in “Assassin’s Creed” Series with 40% Increase in Development Manpower.

The “Assassin’s Creed” series is about to take off again? Ubisoft’s latest financial report shows that it will increase investment in the “Assassin’s Creed” series, including a 40% increase in development manpower.

As Ubisoft’s long-term key development series, CEO Yves Guillemot revealed in the earnings conference call that there are currently about 2,000 employees engaged in development operations, and the manpower will increase by 40% in the next few years.

Ubisoft’s decision isn’t too surprising. According to financial report data, the player life span of “Assassin’s Creed: Viking Era” is about 44% longer than that of “Assassin’s Creed: Origin”, and 19% longer than that of “Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey”; and the paid contribution of each player have significantly improved.

In September 2022, during Ubisoft’s online presentation “Ubisoft Forward”, a series of “Assassin’s Creed” series released includes the sequel “Assassin’s Creed: Illusion”, and the codename “RED” and codename of more sequels “HEXE”.

Ubisoft recently authorized Integral Reality Labs (IRL) to launch the NFT digital collection of “Assassin’s Creed”.
