Jealousy Leads to Fatal Stabbing in Manado City

Police arrested a young man with the initials FH (27) in Manado City, North Sulawesi (North Sulawesi), after stabbing his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend named Tommy Kalngi (28) to death. FH was emotional because the victim met FH’s lover named Shinta.

“The case of abuse using a sharp weapon resulted in the death of the victim,” Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Manado Police, Kompol Sugeng Wahyudi Santoso, told reporters, as reported by Antara. detikSulselFriday (19/5/2023).

The sadistic persecution took place in Ranotana Village, Sario District, Manado on Thursday (18/5) at around 00.30 WITA. At that time the victim met Shinta at her boarding house.

“The victim went up to the second floor (kosan) to meet his ex-girlfriend, known as Shinta, because Shinta asked him to,” said Sugeng.

The culprit who knew their meeting was burning with jealousy. The perpetrator then approached and immediately abused the victim using a sharp knife type weapon.

“(The motive) was jealous because he approached the woman,” he said.
