“Apatou Middle School Students Represent Traditional Awassa Dance at Dance Africa Festival in New York”

It’s an African festival, so it honored Ghana, where the Bushinengues come from. And since I wanted to work on culture, it was really the perfect opportunity.

To finance, in part, their trip, the middle school students worked on an artistic project for five months, three hours a week. Their work was then exhibited and sold. The 4th grade students of Ma Aiye middle school will be back on June 4th.
