Good news for Zakaria Aboukhlal. The Atlas Lion, who was expelled by FC Toulouse following false information published by RMC Sport on a supposed altercation with the deputy mayor of Toulouse, can now find his way back to the field.
FC Toulouse announced that he had reintegrated the Moroccan international into the group via a press release, this Thursday, May 18, explaining that the facts reported by RMC Sports do not reflect reality.
“Following our internal investigation and the many resulting discussions, a meeting between Mrs. Laurence Arribage and our player Zakaria Aboukhlal took place in the presence of the management of the Club. Following this meeting, we concluded that the facts reported by RMC Sport did not really reflect what happened on April 30 at the Capitol”, writes the club of Ligue 1.

“Therefore, we confirm that the investigation carried out by the Toulouse Football Club is now closed and that the player rejoins the group from this day”, concludes the same source.
Earlier today, the player himself denied the rumours, saying he had traded with Laurence Arribage and that he wanted to turn the page.
For its part, RMC Sport continues to maintain his version of the facts according to which an altercation did take place between the 23-year-old footballer and the deputy mayor of Toulouse.
