Turkish opposition presidential candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroglu said that if he is elected as head of state, he intends to initiate the deportation of all refugees from the country. According to the politician, the number of refugees to be evicted from Turkey will be about 10 million people.
“You understand, if they stay, a dollar will cost 30 lira, when a loaf of bread reaches 10 lira, poverty will deepen and these fugitive asylum seekers will turn into potential crime machines. Looting will begin,” Mr. Kylychdaroglu justified his initiative (quote from Haberturk).
According to the Turkish oppositionist, the country is now in a serious migration crisis and Ankara simply does not have the opportunity to support millions of refugees (primarily those who arrived in Turkey from Afghanistan, Syria and Pakistan). Responsibility for the migration crisis in Turkey, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, has publicly placed the current Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in charge. Moreover, according to the Turkish presidential candidate, Mr. Erdogan deliberately encouraged the mass arrival of refugees in order to get “imported votes” in the elections.
On May 14, in the first round of the presidential elections in Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan received 49.51% of the vote, Kemal Kilicdaroglu – 44.88%. In this regard, the second round of elections was scheduled, it will be held on May 28.
