A violent storm fell last Monday in Franceville, capital of the province of Haut-Ogooué, causing significant material damage and leaving many families in disarray in the 1is et 3e boroughs. Sensitive to this situation, the Head of State, Ali Bongo Ondimba dispatched to the scene of the disaster a ministerial delegation led by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Alain Claude Bilie-By-Nze to assist these populations. “To show its solidarity with the affected populations, the government has been instructed by the President of the Republic, Ali Bongo Ondimba, to stay in Franceville from May 17 to 18 in order to provide aid and assistance to the victims, but also to assess the extent of the damage and explore ways to remedy it., says a government statement.
