A week after announcing the arrival of Tim McGraw, the Festival western de Saint-Tite has lifted the veil on the programming of its 55e anniversary. One of the leading figures of country in Quebec, Matt Lang will return to Saint-Tite on September 8 with his show Honky Tonk in the company of new guests.
Nice surprise for festival-goers, the Cowboys Fringants, who are not used to this festival, will be playing the next day, September 9th. American artist Aaron Goodvin, Guylaine Tangu and Phil Lauzon are part of the festival’s musical program.
Among the popular activities, the unique Rita Baga will come to animate her super-bingo on Monday, September 11th.
This year, a new nocturnal competition will be added which will bring together high-level bull riding athletes.
General Manager Anne-Marie Lemire expects to welcome a record number of festival-goers this year.
The Saint-Tite Western Festival will take place from September 8 to 17.
