Chinese Nationals Found Dead at Bali’s Intercontinental Hotel – Suspected Murder-Suicide

The Denpasar Police revealed the cause of the death of a pair of Chinese nationals at the Intercontinental Hotel, Bali. The two WN Chinese are a man named Lhi Chiming (25) and a woman named Cheng Jianan (22).

Reported detikBali, Wednesday (17/5/2023), Denpasar Police Chief Kombes Bambang Yugo Pamungkas said that Cheng Jianan was allegedly killed by Lhi Chiming. After that, Lhi Chiming died by suicide.

“From the processing of the crime scene (TKP) and some of the relevant input for CJ, that is, it is suspected that he was killed (or) abused by the person concerned LC,” said Bambang.

“Then after that it was seen from the TKP processing, all the blood samples were the same, autopsy results, witness examinations, and CCTV that LC died due to suicide,” he added.

Bambang said both of them died while not wearing clothes. Cheng Jianan was found dead inside bathtub bathroom and Lhi Chiming died in the hallway in front of the room.
