NEW YORK — The Tampa Bay Rays beat the New York Mets 8-5 on Tuesday, powered by two homers and five RBIs from Isaac Paredes.

Jose Siri also hit a long ball and Harold Ramírez had two runaway singles among his three hits.

The Rays improved their record to 32-11, the best in the major leagues.
