The Minister of Youth and Sports Vesela Lecheva and the Mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov will open the “Arena Burgas” hall on May 18 (Thursday).
The events in the program start at 6:00 p.m., and from 7:00 p.m., match #3 of the semi-final series of the National Basketball League between “Chernomorets” and “Rila Sportsist” will take place.
Entrance is free.
Each visitor will receive a free ticket with a designated seating area at any of the three points at the entrance to the facility. In order to avoid crowding and waiting, the doors of the hall will be opened two hours before the start of the opening, that is at 4 p.m.
Visitors are urged to follow the instructions they will be given at the entrance and sit in their designated seats in the permitted sectors.
“Apena Bypgac” hall has five levels. It is the only one in the country that meets all the requirements for hosting the European and World Indoor Athletics Championships.
In addition to all athletic disciplines, it will be possible to practice handball, basketball, combat sports, volleyball, rhythmic gymnastics and much more.
The facility includes 3 training halls, three-story parking, as well as additional service rooms. “Arena Burgas” will be managed by the state company “Akademika 2011”.
