“Farma Balt aptieka: Healthcare Retailer with 17.5% Increase in Turnover and Strategic Plans for the Future”

Healthcare goods retailer SIA “Farma Balt aptieka” worked with a turnover of 19.472 million euros in 2022, which is 17.5% more than a year earlier, at the same time the company suffered a loss of 267,361 euros, as opposed to a profit a year earlier, according to “Firmas. lv” published information.

The management report of the financial statement indicates that the turnover of pharmacies located in medical centers increased last year. Compared to previous years, turnover growth was achieved in all time periods last year, while in the summer, when turnover is traditionally observed to decline, it decreased insignificantly.

At the same time, the management explains that the losses are related to investments in the reconstruction of pharmacies and improvement of the working environment.

“Farma Balt aptieka” managed 16 pharmacies in Riga in 2022.

This year, the management of the company plans to increase the level of profitability of “Farma Balt aptieka” operational activity and turnover in strategically important pharmacies.

Also, a review of the marketing strategy and expansion of cooperation with medical centers is planned this year.

In 2021, “Farma Balt aptieka” worked with a turnover of 16.577 million euros and a profit of 787,531 euros.

The company was registered in 2007, and its share capital is 2,845 euros. The sole owner of “Farma Balt aptieka” is Inese Oskerko.
