SCU Altlichtenwarth – Schachinger is back

Less than a month had passed since Patrick Schachinger’s retirement as SCU Altlichtenwarth coach before he was back on the bench.

At SG Poysbrunn/Ot-tenthal his team drew 2:2, but he wasn’t really happy about the point at the start: “We weren’t in the game for 90 minutes. We didn’t have access and weren’t willing to run, and we didn’t know why we were leading.” Only keeper Lukas Huisbauer was praised for keeping his team in the game.

But why did Schachinger return so quickly? Section head Jürgen Roob clarified: “The private turbulence has been overcome and he has started his service at the SCU. The head is now back on football. We gave him the time he needed.”

Short-term boss Harald Feichtinger will be assistant coach again, although he will also hold training sessions due to Schachinger’s shift work. Schachinger is already looking ahead, as the weakest spring team, SG Schrattenberg/Herrnbaumgarten, is waiting next week: “We are able to give every opponent self-confidence, but we want to leave the points at home.” After all, they lost in the spring first off.
