Remembering Popular Russian Actor Vladimir Kuznetsov, Who Passed Away at 79

It became known that on May 12, at the age of 79, a popular Russian actor died in Moscow. Vladimir Kuznetsovwho served in the Lenkom Theater for 45 years, starred in many films and TV shows.

Vladimir Kuznetsov was born on October 3, 1943 in the city of Troitsk, Chelyabinsk Region. In 1969 he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School and was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Lenin Komsomol Theater (“Lenkom”), where he served until 2014. Since 2005, he has collaborated with the Theater of Music and Poetry under the direction of Elena Kamburova.

For 45 years of work at Lenkom, Kuznetsov played in dozens of performances, including The Star and Death of Joaquin Murieta, Juno and Avos, Til, Avtograd-XXI, Hamlet, Optimistic Tragedy, Cruel Intentions, Royal Games.

To a wide audience, he is known for his roles in the films “Battle for Moscow”, “Juno and Avos”, “Quiet investigation”, “In the surf”, in the series “Rublyovka live”, “Doctor Tyrsa”, “Volkov’s Hour”, “Road patrol” etc.
