GERB-SDS prime minister candidate Maria Gabriel actually admitted that she lied, that he is a doctor of political science. This happened in election clip in 2009 d. Then she was a candidate for MEP from GERB.
“I am a doctor of political science by education and I currently work as a research scientist at the Institute of Political Science in Bordeaux (France) and the Institute of European Studies in Brussels,” she says in the 2009 clip.
On today’s press conference Gabrielle was asked by a reporter if she has a doctorate in political science and what her education actually is.
“No, I’m not a doctor of political science and it’s not written anywhere. There is only one videoin which I want to note that then I complied with the requirements of the then technical team, with the volume requirements. But then the dissertation defense was dueGabriel replied. “At this moment in 2009, publicly in front of all of you, my personal and professional path was in the European Parliament as a result of the will of the Bulgarian citizens. I have not defended my doctorate. Outside of this clip, there is nowhere where I have said or indicated. I remind you that I was twice a candidate for European Commissioner and I am checked by all the institutions and bodies that make a comparison and certify the legal value.”
Then Gabriel say how “master’s degree” is in French, adding, “And I’ll stop there. I hope that we will all really make an effort for a political culture, intellectually, normally to ask each other questions and talk to each other, not to speculate and throw fake news into the public space. I have fought them and I will continue to fight them.”
Maria Gabriel also said that she is a Bulgarian citizen and is proud of it in front of the whole world.
